The amazing shrinking man
Monday, May 12, 2008 -
So it's public knowledge now that I'm doing the weight loss thing. My B101 LA Weight Loss commercials are on the air now, and yes I'm following the program as best I can. Monday is a weigh-in day and hopefully I'll improve on the 9 pounds lost thus far. Okay, I know I'm hardly the poster boy for weight loss as I've always been a bit of bean pole most of my life, but the last ten years I can honestly say 10-15 pounds have crept on my frame here and there. Mostly the "there" part around my middle I do believe. Thank you LA, you're working for me.
So where once I could eat anything and as much as I wanted, I am now measuring my portions and having to be far more disciplined than I've been in the past. My little journey the last four weeks is a small step for me, but what it's also done is made me realize what an outstanding feat it's been for Tara. It's no secret, as we've talked about it on the Morning Show how she's battled her weight over the years losing about 90 pounds thanks to Weight Watchers. Isn't that amazing!! And she's kept it off and continues to look "girlicious" thank you very much!! Now that's a weightloss story. The Weight Watchers people should sign her up to be a local spokesperson if they were smart.
So whether it's ten pounds or ninety pounds, may you stay the course and remain disciplined. Then, you, Tara and myself can meet at the DQ for a peanut buster parfait party to celebrate.
