Okay, I have to mention that today is my birthday! I know some people who go over the top on their birthday, they want all of the attention, the spotlight on them. And then there are the others who don't really care about their birthday, if people remember to wish them a happy birthday, that's good enough.... Not for me!

I start mentioning my birthday in December.... by January I'm reminding family and friends that 'the big day is coming!' and by February all hell breaks loose- preparing the party and picking the best DQ cake (so good)!

We have a tradition in my family that we all used to gather in my parents room early in the morning, the presents would be laid out and ready to be opened... that was when my brother, sister and I used to live at home. I'm not  really into presents anymore, it's mainly the attention that I love, being home with my entire family and dogs.... nothing is better than that.

You celebrate your birthday once a year, I think for this ONE DAY, I'm allowed to bask in the overload of attention!

I'm so excited because for my birthday I'm going to the Royal Ontario Museum (I know, how cool am I?) Since I was a little girl, I've been fascinated with dinosaurs.... I can't wait to go! I'll let you know how it went... because I know you're just itching to find out what went on at the museum ;)
