It's one of my best girlfriend's birthday this weekend, so I went to buy her a card last night... and it literally took me 25 minutes to just pick the card.

I don't remember card shopping being so overwhelming and well... challenging! Do I want a funny card, making fun of her for getting older? (I think the 'over the hill' joke has run it's course) A 'thank you for being my friend' card? A card with a naked man on the front?? Decisions, decisions!

Also, after picking up about 8 cards, I had to flip through them, finally decide on one, then remember where I had taken them all from! Wow what a business it was.

I need to go back to what I used to do for cards when I was younger, I'd go to the card store, read the cards, remember one I liked, I'd go back home and make the card by hand... and copy what the card said!
