...Movie theatres will not have seating right in front of the screen.

I went to see Shutter Island Friday night, the new Martin Scorsese flick with Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Ruffalo. I specifically got my tickets early because I knew the show would sell out.

I guess it doesn't help if you buy your  tickets early but you don't show up early enough before the movie on opening night.

There we were, saying 'ha ha suckers!' to the people stuck in line who were trying to get their Shutter Island tickets. We walked into the theatre and the only seats left were in the front row. And to add insult to injury, the seats were the last two seats on the far left of the front row... so we weren't even centered!!

I couldn't believe how unpleasant the viewing of the film was because of our seating... I've sat near the front row before but never in the actual front row, I'm always early enough for movies.

My eyes hurt by the end of the film. I kept choking on my popcorn because my neck had to be pushed up and back so I could see the film. Why do theatres insist on having seats SO CLOSE to the screen?? Nobody wants to be sitting there!

I always give my opinion on my blog of movies I've seen... Shutter Island was interesting, you can never go wrong when Leonardo DiCaprio is in a lead role, he is such a brilliant actor. How he hasn't won an Oscar yet is beyond me.

What makes Shutter Island so good is that it keeps you thinking for days after... I'm STILL thinking about the ending! I do have to say though the movie would have been more enjoyable though if I wasn't looking up Leo's pant leg the entire time:)
