It's an interesting blog today. The worlds most pierced woman... wow.... is she ever pierced! Naturally, she is the Guiness World Record Holder for the most piercings... 6005! Ouch! I have one facial piercing- an eyebrow ring that I've had for a long time and THAT was enough for me! I remember I almost threw up during the piercing process. The piercer handed me a "biohazard' garbage can to throw up into in case I needed to... how professional and comforting! 

Just my one facial piercing gives me trouble- it gets infected so easily (and often), getting my eyebrows waxed is always a challenge for the woman I go to- she's either scared to wax near or around the ring and always leaves stray hair so it's not done properly (goodbye 12 dollars... 15 with tip) Putting on a shirt can be hard too- my eyebrow ring gets caught and sometimes bleeds if it's been pulled too hard... my hairdresser has yanked on my eyebrow ring with her comb because she forgot it was there (yup, total bloodbath), sleeping on my right side can be irritating because I end up sleeping on the ring, putting a towel over your head after a shower can be challenging if you get your eyebrow ring caught in the process and picking the crusties that grow at the bottom of the ring can get pretty boring... wow thinking about all of the negative things and looking back at that long list of problems is kind of making me want to take it out! So if I have this many problems with one small facial piercing, I cannot imagine what it's like for this woman! Here's her story:

Elaine Davidson has 6005 total piercings, and that includes "more than 1,500 that are internal," (ouch and ew at the same time!) 

Here's the best part, Elaine says she doesn't  enjoy getting pierced.... but she does it because she has to suffer for her art.
