The little critters of nature are out and about in the dog park, and my Jet seems to know where each one of them is lurking!

She almost gave us a  heart attack when she came running to us, happy as can be, with a mouse in her mouth, and with us being huge animal lovers of any animal any size, we did everything in our power to make her finally drop that mouse. I still don't get it, she gets treats and bones and plenty of food, and yet a little mouse is her food of choice!

It's gotten to a point now that when we see Jet running off a bit at the park then trotting back happily.... We simultaneously let out an "Uh Oh" and have to chase her around to see what she has in her mouth, and believe me... she is impossible to chase thanks to that part greyhound in her. If the dogs at the park can't catch her, the Gerson crew can't either! Luckily, each time we've caught her and have felt like we are pleading with a murderer to let go of their victim- she does let go and we watch the little mice run off to safety.... When I see Jet with those mice, I don't even want to think about the little remorse the coyotes at the park have when they're eating their meals!;)
