Okay... Friday was the Media Bedpan race at Mash Bash at Snow Valley.  Last year I came in second place officially... but in my heart it was first place (I won't get into that in this blog).  This year was different.  There were a lot more people in the race.  And I have gained some weight.  Which means... there's more junk in my trunk... and more to fit on a bedpan.  To make a long story short... I couldn't get started down the hill fast enough... and I was approaching the finish line in second-last place.  But before I crossed the line... I noticed Miss Canada was behind me.  So I let her go ahead of me (ladies first!) and I came in last.

Honestly, the point of the race isn't to win.  It's to support the Royal Victoria Hospital.  And over $20,000 was raised on Friday.  So... I'm happy about that for sure.
