A new survey done for Bank of Montreal suggests Canadians will spend more money on back-to-school shopping this year than last.
It predicts Canadians will spend an average of 362-dollars on everything from crayons, to shoes, to laptops -- up 43 dollars from last year.
About 25 per cent of respondents said they plan to do their shopping online this year.
For many retailers, the back-to-school shopping season is second only to the holiday season.
