Canada Day celebrations will be taking place across the region.
A number of municipalities have a series of events taking place this weekend---sort of an extended birthday party.
Promenade Day Celebrations in downtown Barrie today through Monday.
The Snowbirds will perform at Couchiching Beach Park in Orillia on Saturday evening.
