BARRIE WOMAN WAITS FOR B-C SUPREME COURT RULING ON RIGHT TO DIE LAWS

VANCOUVER

A B-C Supreme Court judge rules today on a challenge against Canada's assisted suicide laws.

Susan Bracken of Barrie is one of those challenging the laws.

In her affidavit, Bracken says she watched her husband die painfully from cancer only too find out she too had cancer.

She says she considered committing suicide because Canada wouldn't allow her to get help to escape what she knows would be a horrible death.
