It's supposed to rain a lot this weekend. In fact, Mr. Weatherman says it'll rain alllll weekend long.

Luckily we are still into the first week of September and the temperatures are still pretty warm which means we are trying to cram in as much 'outside time' as possible. I'm supposed to be going to a cottage this weekend and at first when I heard "rain all weekend long" I thought ABORT! Abort the cottage plans!

But I have to admit... there are many reasons that I love when it rains. And no, it's not because I grew up with my parents singing "Robin In The Rain" to me (if you don't know that song... well then, you just made me feel really old). I love that I don't have to water my plants... the rain takes care of that. I love taking my dog Snickers for a walk in the rain (I know, sounds weird) and coming back inside my house with him, drying him off with a towel and peeling off my wet clothes and getting into dry, comfy clothes then snuggling with him on the couch.

And the absolute BEST thing to do in the rain? Curl up on the couch with a blanket and watch your favourite tv series (yes, for hours on end) or a whole whack of movies while the rain is pouring outside.

Bonus if there is a thunderstorm and you're watching a horror movie... it makes it that much better :)
