As I sit here at my desk at 4:30am, I find myself struggling to keep my eyes open. The reason why - Medieval Times.
Last night, our bosses took us to Toronto for our summer party and this year it was held at Medieval Times. I had never been before so I wasn't really sure what to expect.
Here's the only thing you need to know...bring an appetite!
When we arrived, we were given a table number and a colour. The colour you received (for me it was blue) represented the Knight that you would be cheering for. It just so happened that not only was Lisa also cheering for the Blue Knight, but she was sitting at my table as well!

Around 7:15pm, we were asked to move into the 'stadium' and sit at our seats that were pre-assigned. Almost immediately after we sat down, that is when the food started coming.
We first started with 'Dragon Blood' (aka tomato soup). Of course, along with the entire meal, the soup had to be eaten without any utensils.

The 'Dragon Blood' was only part one of many to come. The entire menu included: Dragon Soup, half a chicken, ribs, garlic bread, a potato, and apple strudel. Not a big surprise, not only did I get the 'meat sweats' but also heartburn! It was completely worth it though because the food was delicious!!
During the show there was always LOTS going on including a dancing horse, Knights fighting, and jousting. Pretty cool.

The entire B101 Crew had an amazing time and I think we'd all recommend it. It would especially be a great show to take the kids too because not only do they get to eat with their hands, but they get to be as loud as possible cheering for 'their' Knight!
We didn't end up getting home until after 11pm which, at first, doesn't sound too early. But when you take a look at the time my alarm goes off, it's pretty rough. To make sure that I didn't sleep through my alarm, I thought I'd better set just a couple!

Here's the entire B101 Crew! (Left to right: Chris, Will, Robyn, me, Lisa).

Despite the meat sweats and the fact that I'm completely exhausted, we had an amazing time!
Have you ever been?
