A province wide weekend event for thousands of people to enjoy a stroll with their families, two and 4-legged around the park in our community to help raise support for Ontario SPCA. Even people without pets come out to enjoy the day and support this worthwhile cause.

Here's Ozzy with his NEW family!!

HELLO!! My name is Ozzy and I'm a Siberian Husky mix!

As you can tell, I'm still very young and I'm looking for my NEW home!

Here's a little about me.

First... I'm super cute (did I say that already?). The staff at the Barrie OSPCA used their Meet Your Match assessment on me and here's what they found. Apparently I might be a bit of a hand full and I might get into some things that I shouldn't. I do, however, love to go on walks and I eventually will love to go for long runs too!

I've heard that it's a GREAT time of the year to bring home a puppy so if you're ready for that lifetime commitment, come down to the shelter and meet me, Ozzy!

HELLO!!!

My name is Coco (not to be confused with Ice T's wife!) and I am the LIFE of the party!

I'm very outgoing and SUPER friendly to everyone I meet. I know and understand all of my obedience, I am excellent with other dogs and I LOVE daycare.

Unlike some dogs, I seem to be alright with cats which was a pleasant surprise to the staff at the SPCA.

I must admit, I don’t take very good care of my toys however I ONLY chew what is mine.

I can’t wait to be your FURever companion!

What's up, doc?!

My name is Tutu and here's a little bit about me!

I've been at the shelter now for almost a year and I can't understand why someone hasn't come down to adopt me yet! I'm a dwarf mix with Netherland White and I'm super friendly! In fact, the Netherland White is one of the friendliest breeds of rabbits!!)

I LOVE to eat and some of my favourite treats include timothy hay, apple and a nice green mix with kale! I'll even eat a tomato from time to time!

I am neutered and I am ready for you to come and pick me up!!

My name is Logan and I was surrendered to the SPCA, and now I'm looking for my forever home.

Do you think that could be you?

I'm a mix between a Rottweiler, Sheppard, and a Chinese Shar Pei which gives me my very interesting looks. I'm a friendly boy and my previous owners said I was a talkative couch potato and the shelter staff agrees.

When you walk into the Barrie OSPCA, I'll be the first one to greet you in the adoption room because I'm SUPER friendly!!

I'm very obedient as well and if you tell me to 'sit' or 'come,' NO problem! I have that down pat!!

I'm good with kids, other dogs, car rides, vet visits, and pretty much everything. I'm eaaasy going.

My name is Spirit and I'm the Pet of the Month for November!!

So you wanna know a bit more about me, do you?!

Well, let me tell you!

I’m just a big & fun young guy looking for a home and a new best friend.

The staff at the OSPCA Barrie Branch have taken great care of me here and they have taught me my basic commands and manners which, by the way, I picked up super fast (not trying to brag but hey, what I'm pretty smart!).

I also get to go to doggy daycare and play with other dogs and make new friends. How fun is that?

My name is Diesel and yes... I AM that cute!!

I am FULL of energy and I LOVE the dog park and I absolutely love hanging out with my pals!! I'm also super awesome at making new friends too!!

Even though I'm young, I've already started my obedience training but I really need a family who is willing to continue to work with me! I will admit, sometimes I get REALLY excited and I jump up on people but I mean WHO WOULDN'T?! I'm sure with a little help, I can try and contain my excitment!

I am a SUPER friendly dog that gets along with other dogs (I mean who doesn’t love a play date right?), but cats aren't really my thang. The staff at the Barrie OSPCA think I am a very smart dog that has just never been given any proper direction. I would love a family that is willing to help me to be the best dog I can be by giving me proper boundaries and limitations and exercising me daily.

HEEELLLOOO!!

My name is Molly and I'm a 5 year old Beagle mix looking for a second chance.

My previous owner left me with a dog sitter and never came back for me...What up with DAT?!

I am SUPER awesome (if I do say so myself!), I get along with other dogs, and cats... yes you read that right...cats! I know my commands and like any typical beagle my nose leads the way.

The staff at the Barrie Branch brought me to the grand opening of the new dog park and I LOVED it! I would love a family that loves to be outdoors doing all sorts of fun activities.
